MAKASSAR — As a manifestation of commitment to accelerate the digitalization of higher education and engineering research, the Aimmetrix team held an audience agenda with the leadership of the Faculty of Engineering, Bosowa University (FT Unibos) on Wednesday, July 29, 2026. This meeting focused on discussions and explorations of the implementation of technology Virtual Reality (VR) Simulator to support practical and modern learning facilities on campus.
This strategic meeting was welcomed directly by the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Bosowa University, Mr. Dr. Muh Awaluddin Hamdy, S.T., M.Si., along with the leadership team and academic community of FT Unibos.
Technology Exploration and Live Demonstration
On this occasion, the Aimmetrix team presented the architecture of virtual simulation technology specifically designed for high-risk technical scenarios and engineering procedures that require precise 3D spatial visualization. The academic community of FT Unibos also witnessed and directly tried the operational demonstration of the VR headset, observing how interactive interactions in the simulation can safely, efficiently, and standardized replicate field practicum modules.
The Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at Unibos, Dr. Muh Awaluddin Hamdy, appreciates the initiative of utilizing immersive technology as a relevant solution to address curriculum challenges in the digital era. The integration of simulator devices is expected to complement existing physical laboratory facilities, expand students' access to independent technical training, and minimize the risk of workplace accidents during heavy equipment training sessions and complex engineering processes.
Through this audience, Aimmetrix and the Faculty of Engineering at Bosowa University hope to follow up on a structured cooperation plan to strengthen the ecosystem of vocational and academic learning based on immersive technology in the future.
