SAWAHLUNTO — PT Anugrah Interaktif Mandiri (Aimmetrix) once again proves its commitment to driving digital transformation in the national strategic industrial sector. From September 30 to October 2, 2026, the Aimmetrix team successfully carried out the handover agenda along with operational training of the Module Non-Electrical Detonator Underground Blasting Simulator at the Underground Mining Training Center (BDTBT) Sawahlunto, West Sumatra.
This simulator module based on Virtual Reality (VR) is specifically and precisely designed to visualize underground mining blasting procedures using non-electric detonators. During the three-day training session, instructors and staff from BDTBT Sawahlunto had the opportunity to directly test the software and hardware of the simulator, as well as delve into the manual book for system usage to be ready for independent implementation.
The utilization of VR technology allows training participants to practice blasting scenarios that have a high risk of accidents in the real world, in a 100% safe yet realistic virtual environment (immersive). Through this approach, the procedures for detonator assembly, evacuation, and execution of blasting can be repeated until participants fully master the strict standard operating procedures (SOP).
In the future, this simulator unit from Aimmetrix will be officially adopted as training material at the Sawahlunto Underground Mining Training Center. The synergy and handover of this technological innovation aim to advance the quality of underground mining blasting training in Indonesia, while also producing superior, skilled, and safety-oriented human resources (HR) in mining.
